Housing Opportunities for Massachusetts…for Everyone (HOME)

The answer to the state’s unprecedented housing crisis is clear: Massachusetts must build more than 200,000 units to meet demand. The decades-long failure to create enough homes has made the state unaffordable, and is a top reason more than 100,000 residents have reportedly picked up and moved since 2020. Unless Massachusetts significantly scales up housing creation, sky-high costs will lead to the exodus of even more residents, threatening the state’s long-term economic competitiveness.
To help leaders across the Commonwealth understand, and advocate for, the steps essential to overcoming the housing crisis, we – a cross-section of community and business leaders – have formed the  Housing Opportunities for Massachusetts…for Everyone (HOME) coalition to support housing production and oppose failed proposals of the past like rent control that will take us backward on housing policy.

Guest speaker, Eileen McAnneny, Massachusetts Association of Healthcare

There is no entity singularly focused on rising health costs and this coalition can fill that void by organizing employers and asserting their collective voice in the health policy conversations taking place on Beacon Hill.
