The Massachusetts Coalition for Independent Work is dedicated to advocating for app-based platform workers throughout the Commonwealth. The coalition’s goal is to help develop a modern legislative framework that can protect workers’ ability to choose their schedules and earn income on their terms, while also gaining benefits and protections.
Conor Yunits is senior vice president of Solomon McCown & Cence and is coordinating the Massachusetts Coalition for Independent Work. A seasoned public affairs and communications strategist, Conor works across SM&C’s government affairs, real estate, health care and crisis practices, From 2006-2010 Conor was director of communications for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
